Luxury sea-view villa with private pool

latest addition to our portfolio, bookable since 3rd of July 2023. With a beautiful sea view overlooking the Foz do Lizandro Beach this wonderful brand new villa offers 160m2 living space over 2 floors, a nicely sized pool, a shaded outdoor barbecue area and other amenities to create a very relaxing vacation experience. The house provides a very tranquil and secure location that welcomes surfing, relaxation and taking in the pure Atlantic Ocean atmosphere. You can walk to the nearest beaches (Foz do Lizandro and South - both 1.2 km away) or into the Ericeira's main square (1.8 km away). With Sintra and Mafra in close proximity (24 kms and 12 kms respectively), you are ideally positioned to enjoy both nature and historical attractions. By car, Lisbon International airport is only 35 minutes away. Central Lisbon is 45 minutes away via taxi and an hour away, using public transport (Ericeira bus terminal to Lisbon Campo Grande and metro connections).

This newly constructed contemporary well-sized home, has two floors, air conditioning in every room and a spacious living room with panoramic glass doors that open to the pool and barbecue area. For your entertainment, take advantage of the free WiFi which is available throughout the house and the large flat-screen TV with cable channels. You can also access your Netflix, Prime and YouTube accounts directly from the TV remote control. The kitchen is large, modern and fully equipped with utensils sufficient to prepare either quick or elaborate meals. The kitchen and dining room areas (with sea view), are accessible from the open plan living room. A convenience bathroom is also located on the ground floor. For your enjoyment and relaxation, the pool area is equipped with outdoor furniture. Since it has no fencing, children must always be accompanied by an adult when on the pool deck or using the pool. The pool is equipped with a polycarbonate cover, which when closed at night, assists in maintaining a higher water temperature. There is also a solar outdoor shower. Pool towels are provided for your convenience. Adjacent to the pool, you will find the barbecue area with chairs and a large communal table, to enjoy al fresco dining. Barbecue utensils are provided. Easy access from the kitchen/living room assists in the preparation of a perfect meal, while socializing with your friends. The villa has 3 bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom, all located on the property's first floor. The bedrooms have king size (master bedroom), queen size and 2 single beds respectively. Two bedrooms have splendid sea views and the third, has a partial sea view and a balcony with a sea view. The master bedroom opens to a spacious balcony with outdoor furniture that invites you to relax and take in the breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and beautiful sunsets. The master bedroom also has a designated work area, with a desk and comfortable chair. In the laundry room in the basement of the house, you will find a washing machine, airer and ironing equipment. Parking is readily available in the public parking bay directly below the villa.

Mehrere tolle Strände und der entzückende Ortskern von Ericeira waren in 15-25 Minuten gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Kommunikation mit Herwig war sehr unkompliziert und schnell. Er hat uns eine sehr gute Surfschule empfohlen und die erste Stunde für uns im Voraus gebucht. Vielen Dank Herwig, wir kommen sicher wieder."

"Wij waren zeer tevreden met ons verblijf hier. Het huis was proper en goed uitgerust met veel materiaal in keuken, washok,… Ook leuke lounge met mooi uitzicht op de zee en buitentafel. Zou extra leuk zijn als het zwembad verwarmd zou zijn, maar dit heeft ons niet tegengehouden er soms rap in te springen ter verkoeling. Huis ligt op 20 min wandelafstand van het centrum wat ook erg handig is. Zeer makkelijke en snelle communicatie met Herwig, hij regelde zelfs 1 dag op voorhand nog surflessen voor ons. Zeer goede host dus. Algemeen hebben we een zeer aangenaam verblijf gehad."

"Lovely place. Thoroughly enjoyed. Large and spacious - good quality finish and great communication. Only slight point for us as a family was if you’re booking to use the pool through the week for children, it probably isn’t the place for you unless temperatures are over 30/32 - our kids used the pool once only for 15 minutes. You are able to buy a day pass to use the heated pool at a local hotel “you and the sea”. Overall beautiful house if you’re looking to visit Ericeira, but I wouldn’t book if the aim is to spend long periods of time using the pool. If the owner could organise a heating element for pool, would rate this air b&b 10/10"

"We very much enjoyed our stay at Herwig's place. The villa is in a quiet neighbourhood, with beautiful sea view and close to Ericeira and the beaches (in walking distance). The house is new and very well and nicely equipped. Herwig was a great host: he arranged for surf lessons and the recommendations for the local restaurants were great. "I cannot say enough great things about Herwig and his home. First, he is the best host we've ever had. He was beyond helpful and could not have been more responsive. He went as far as to book surfing lessons for us. He gave us amazing recommendations. He was patient and helpful with every question we had. He was a great resource and played a part in making our trip more enjoyable. The house is better than it looks (which is saying a lot) in the pics. It is immaculate. It has every comfort that you could think of. It was in an ideal location for us. A short drive to downtown. Walkable to some restaurants and beaches. My children didn't want to leave. I cannot recommend Herwig and his home enough. I've rented a lot of Airbnbs and this stands alone in terms of quality, comfort, and communication. 10/10."
