we partner with 55 ActionWaves Surf School, one of the best in town.
Gonçalo, the owner, has over 15 years of experience and a degree in physical education.
The school is licensed by the Portuguese Surfing Federation and local authorities, and all instructors are certified.
Our lessons are for all levels — from groms to advanced surfers — in very small groups (5-6 persons).
Sessions last +-2.5 hours, beach is chosen based on conditions (São Julião, Praia do Norte, Matadouro, Praia do Sul or Ribeira d’Ilhas),
and beach transfer is included.
Rates: from Beginner: €40/session/person (incl. gear) to Advanced Beginner: €45 and Intermediate: €50 (max. 3 surfers/coach);
Advanced/Competition/Guiding: on request

Choosing the best suited beach and schedule of the day, private coaching will speed up your evolution dramatically, as we can concentrate exclusively on your skills and mistakes.
During 1,5 - 2.0 hours our qualified teachers will push your limits, count on intensive training sessions.
Beach transfer and equipment (wetsuit and surfboard) are included.
