The Brilhante apartment is located in one of Ericeira's most beautiful gated communities, overlooking the São Sebastião Beach and the Matadouro Beach. The community has nicely treated garden structure topping up their properties. A walk into the historical center of Ericeira takes about 20 minutes, to the closest restaurants and shopping mall it's about a 10 minutes walk. Beaches are also in short walking distance (Matadouro, São Sebastião and Algodio).

A large one bedroom apartment, comprising 75m2 plus 2 large terraces, a mix of simplicity and design. The views over the Atlantic Ocean from the living room as well as from the terrace are splendid. The apartment interior was designed by well know Portuguese architect Carlos Rui Sousa, who signs responsible for the unique interior table and chairs, as well as details like chimney and concept of the elevated lounge area. Contemporary art decoration lights up the living room, a painting of Paulo Quintas, Ericeira born artist is one of the stand outs. A nicely sized kitchen and bathroom top up the apartment, which has one bedroom with a double-bed and a large chaise lounge for a 3rd person in the living room. A further lounge chair, a cozy sofa, cable TV and Internet as well as the large terrace equipped with outdoor-furniture, like sunbeds, umbrella, table and benches help to settle you comfortably. Barbecue dinners will be certainly on your list to enjoy the breathtaking sunsets. There is a high-speed optic fiber cable internet connection. No TV.

"Nous sommes restés une semaine dans le très bel appartement d’Herwig. La terrasse est superbe et on en a bien profité. L’appartement était très propre, très calme, prés du centre et comme décrit dans l’annonce. Emplacement idéal pour découvrir la charmante et pittoresques localité d’Ericeira. Attention pour les personnes de grandes tailles, le lit n’est pas très grand."

"Het appartement ligt op een prachtige locatie met geweldig uitzicht op zee. Het meubelair is verouderd maar dat deert niet. We vonden het matras niet lekker slapen (heel oud en de ringen kwamen bijna door het matras heen) toen we dit aangaven was Herwig erg vriendelijk en liet meteen een ander matras komen. Bedankt voor deze service!"

"Die Unterkunft bietet euch einen traumhaften Ausblick aufs Meer. Noch besser als erwartet.Ich habe mich riesig gefreut, als ich angekommen bin. Die Wohnung selbst bedarf ein bisschen Arbeit zB. Fenster&Jalousien wieder reparieren, damit der Blick noch besser ist :) Es ist alles etwas in die Jahre gekommen und könnte hier und da Erneuerungen gebrauchen. Der Herd und einige der Küchenutensilien sind schon sehr alt. Ein größeres und bequemeres Bett würde auch helfen. Die Wohnung riecht auch etwas alt. Die Lage fand ich super. Die Wohnung befindet sich in einer ruhigen, gepflegten Wohnsiedlung mit Einfahrt. Zu meiner Zeit waren die restlichen Häuser kaum bewohnt. Du solltest allerdings nicht schlecht zu Fuß unterwegs sein, da du ein paar Treppen laufen musst oder eben mit dem Auto fahren. Für den Blick/Terasse lohnt es sich. Generell muss man ein Stück gehen um in die Stadt oder zum Supermarkt zu kommen. Der Check in war unkompliziert und flexibel und die Kommunikation super. Vielen Dank"
